Circular knitting needle size 5 (3.5 mm), 29 in. (73.5 cm) long
Crochet Hook - Size F-5 (3.75 mm)

Exact gauge is not essential.

Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.

Triangular shawl is knit in lace pattern, finished with crochet edging. Shawl begins at center back neck and is shaped by working yarn over (yo) increases on every row.

Additional tips are provided for novice lace knitters.
