Sweet Temptation
Tempted and have lots of scrap yarn? This scarf is a great project to use up small amounts of yarn. The center motifs are worked in a spiral. A border is worked around it to square it up and then the blocks are joined to make a scarf the desired length. Add a border and fringe to finish. The sample scarf was made with 18 spiral blocks. Finished it measured 65” long x 4.5” wide excluding fringe. It was made with 198 yards of worsted weight scrap yarn (11 yards per spiral) and 150 yards of another color yarn to border and finish the scarf using a size G/4mm crochet hook. You can use any weight of yarn by changing the hook size to suit the yarn. The 5 page pattern has written row instructions and two crochet charts.
