Send your little ones off to sleep with this dreamy pastel moon and stars wall hanging. A perfect addition to any nursery, the decorations are knit in a glittery DK yarns to subtly catch the light. The pieces are suspended from a macrame wooden dowel rod/ pole; these are available from most good craft stores. If you cannot source a dowel rod, you could simply use a pretty wooden coat hanger instead.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the decorations are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 3mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
James C Brett Shimmer DK ; double knitting/light worsted weight; 90% acrylic/10% viscose; up to 50g in each colour.

NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and a macrame dowel pole and string for hanging.

SIZES:
One size only - Stars measure 7cm and 8cm across, and the moon is 18cm tall.

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, short rows for shaping, and seaming to finish.
