Here’s Twisted’s chunky-weight hat for the CLICK for Babies Campaign, which aims to raise awareness for shaken baby syndrome and the Period of Purple Crying. The goal is for thousands of hats to be knitted or crocheted for distribution to all babies born in Oregon during the months of November and December. Knitted at a chunky gauge, with a mere 40 yards, it’s a quick and satisfying project, just perfect for these waning days of Summer.

Needles - US #10/6mm (or size to get gauge) for knitting in the round, using your preferred method (either two circulars, or one long circular for magic loop, or 12” circular and double points for smaller circumference knitting) AND one size smaller needles for knitting in the round (same methods as above).
