Suzanne Atkinson Square
This square was great fun to design. I was inspired by a little country church not far from my home, and by the innocence and simplicity of children’s art.
For anyone working this pattern, you might want to work a little length of I-cord for the cross-piece of the cross on the steeple, since the reverse stocking stitch makes the work recess. Work as for the sun’s rays, and just stitch in place.
