Note from Designer 23 Sept 2008:

I’ve been informed by several knitters of the following errors in my pattern:

There is a small error in the cable chart key; the instructions for C4R and C4RP should both begin “Slip next 2 stitches to cable needle” instead of “Slip next stitch to cable needle”.

The cuff should begin as follows:

Using smaller circular needle, cast on 30 stitches. Row 1 WS: Slip 1, purl to end. (This counts as Row 1 of cable chart.) Row 2 RS: Slip 1, k1, work Row 2 of cable chart, k2.

It then continues as written.
