SURPRISE

My go to pattern for a quick and easy baby blanket. The pattern is simple to learn, easy to remember. Yes, there are no cables!

The original project for this pattern was a baby blanket. It became a surprise for two reasons.

First, it is very, very easy to knit. (I almost named it Mindless!)

Second, worked in malabrigo worsted it looks great without blocking. (Or try malabrigo Rios, so soft and machine washable!)

This is advantageous when giving the blanket/scarf/wrap as a gift; the recipient does not have to worry when washing the item that it will return to an unattractive pile needing to be blocked.*

Pattern contains both written instructions and chart.

Car seat or stroller size, Small 23” x25” uses 2 skeins Malabrigo Worsted (or 420 yards)

Large 30” x 31.5”uses 3 skeins Malabrigo Worsted (630 yards)

Includes instructions and guidelines for scarf and wrap sizes.

Of course you can block if you would like to!
