Superstar Crochet Hat
For the 2014 Yarn Along the Rockies yarn crawl, each store designed either a knit or crochet pattern (or one of each) using only one skein of yarn. I went with one of each, and I challenged myself to create patterns using local yarns that we carry at Wild Yarns.
For the Superstar Crochet Hat pattern I used a mini-skein of Sleep Season sock yarn and one skein of Eat Agar handspun yarn. The hat begins with crocheting a start motif and then creating the body out of mostly chain stitch. It was a lot of fun to make and creates an artsy head-topper for those days that you either don’t want to do your hair or want to add some flair to your outfit!
As part of the 2014 Yarn Along the Rockies yarn crawl, this pattern was free until the end of 2014.
