Super chunky, super warm, super cosy, what else could you want? A giant pom pom? Done!

This beginners/intermediate crochet pattern is simple and quick to produce in under an hour using a mix of double crochet and single crochet stitches, perfect for those last minute gifts. It is crocheted from the top down in rounds so can be adjusted to fit any teen or adult sized head.
Size:
Teen/Adult – Fits head circumference 20-22 inches.

Stitches used: ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), SC (single crochet), DC (Double Crochet)

Materials:
Bulky Weight Yarn (size 5) - I used King Cole Big Value Super Chunky Knitting Wool / Yarn 100g Ball (Oatmeal - 14) approx 80-100m
Optional - 2 strands of Double Knit weight yarn - I used alpaca/merino mix for added warmth, thickness and to provide the marbled effect, but it is not necessary
US size O Hook (12mm)
Scissors and Tapestry needle

Gauge: 6DC and 3 rows = 4 x 4 inches.
