The Lepidium Lace Tee is a light and breezy sleeveless top, inspired by slow wanders through fields of wild cress, watching the tall seed heads catch the light as the sun dips low.

The lace motif is made using simple yarn overs and decreases, forming a soft, slanted line of eyelets that remind me of the delicate shape of Lepidium setatum seed heads. It adds just enough interest to keep things engaging without feeling tricky or overwhelming.

CONSTRUCTION:
The tee is worked flat in two pieces, which are then seamed at the shoulders and sides. This allows beginner knitters to practice simple lace techniques without worrying about shaping. Stitches are then picked up at the armholes to create a decorative curled edge.

SIZES:
This relaxed fit sleeveless top is available in 8 sizes from 78cm/31 inch chest through to 156cm/61 inch chest. Shoulder to hip is approximately 63cm (24 inches). It is designed to be worn with approximately 10-20cm/4-8 inches of ease around the upper bust.
