Needles: 3.5mm / US 4 circular needle, 60-100cm / 24-40” length (depending on size worked)
3mm / US 2.5 circular needle, 40cm / 16” length AND needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 2 stitch markers, 4 locking stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle
Notes: Sunwake is worked in the round from the bottom up to the underarm, then the front and back are worked separately back and forth in rows. When the front and back are complete, the shoulder seams are joined using a three-needle cast-off. Finally, sts are picked up around the neckline and armholes and these are finished by working in the round. The length is easily adjusted by adding / removing rows from the St st section before beginning Chart A.
