Sunriver, Oregon, a community in the high desert, is one of my favorite places on earth, as well as the location for the photography in this book. Like Sunriver, this scarf has universal appeal and can be worn by any age or gender. If you love the Dizzy Scarf (page 86), try this as your next step for working Annetarsia garter stitch. The chart was inspired by the tessellated #100 Puzzle chart in Kaffe Fassett’s Pattern Library.
I adjusted the section sizes in Kaffe’s chart so that purl bumps would show up on both sides of the fabric to create a reversible appearance.

This is a wonderful stash-buster project. For impact, mix similar colors with contrasting ones to maintain a bold color statement.
