The Sunray Hat features beautifully colored vertical stripes. These colorful rays come together at the crown. The neutral background stripes are worked in Garter Stitch for added texture.

The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Colorwork is made by using slipped stitches and alternating colors on each round. Only one color is used per round and stitches of the other color are slipped.

The contrasting color can be worked in a solid color or using five- or seven-color mini packs.

The stitch pattern is both written and charted.
