Materials

• Treenway Silks Kiku, 100% spun bombyx silk yarn, laceweight, 1,100 yard (1,005.8 m)/100 gram (3.5 oz) skein, 1 skein each of #403 Mexican Chocolate and #201 Golden Aspen
• Needles, size 0 (2.0 mm) steel or wooden double pointed
• Tapestry needle
• Silk fabric, Brown
• Sharp-point sewing needle
• Sewing thread to match silk fabric
• Cardboard
• Batting
• Felt, dark color

Finished size: 5½ inches (14.0 cm) in diameter

Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows = 2 inches (5.1 cm) in garter stitch; exact gauge is not critical for this project
