Sunflower Bag
Brighten up your day and turn heads with this cute Sunflower bag!
Bright, soft and richly textured all over, it’s also quick and easy to make from bulky yarn and with detailed step-by-step photo tutorial in the pattern.
The pattern is versatile and can be worked in a variety of yarn weights, from worsted to super bulky (one strand or doubled). Bag size will vary from about 8” to 16” width, depending on used yarn and your crochet tension.
Bag is worked in 3 pieces: Front, Back and Sides/Handle.
Front is worked in the round and embellished with a large Flower Motif. The Flower is constructed of a puff stitch center and popcorn petals worked in joined rounds and framed around with a contrasting yarn.
Back is solid, worked in the spiral in ribbed Camel Stitch.
Sides and Handle are worked in one piece and slip stitched to Front and Back.
The top opening can be left open, or closed with a sew-on snap fastener.
