Sunflower
This is a crochet pattern to make a sunflower plant.
Pattern is written using US crochet terminology and has lots of step by step photos included.
I have set the level for this pattern to intermediate, as some work with craft wire is required, but my testers suggested that a confident beginner will be able to create this pattern, if taking time and reading instructions carefully.
There are no sewing part in this pattern, everything is attached by crocheting and all you have to do is tuck in few ends.
You will need:
4 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle, Scissors, Stuffing, Craft wire (about 30 cm/ 12”), Craft stick (8 mm/0.3” wide and about 60 cm/24” tall)
Aran/worsted (size 4) yarn:
approximately: 20 m brown/ 63 m green/ 63 m yellow
You can replace the yarn and hook size if you feel confident. My testers also used lighter weight yarn for this project.
Any question, please get in touch!
Happy crocheting!
Kat
