Sunehra
One of India’s most colourful festivals is just around the corner and Sunehra, meaning golden, seemed like the perfect way to begin the festivities.
Holi, known as the festival of colours, marks the beginning of spring in India. It’s a day when family and friends get together and celebrate with water, colour and lots of yummy food. For a festival that’s popularly played outdoors, the beautiful splash of colours in this wrap brings Holi right home to me.
This is a top down crescent shaped wrap with some fun textures. The lovely lace pattern is an easy repetition of stitches and makes up the body of the shawl with some garter rows, nupps and bobbles thrown in for good measure.
