Sun & Skyland
Have you every held a skein of yarn and it tells you what it wants to be made into? When I held my first skein of Blue Sky Fiber’s new Skyland yarn, it screamed “HAT!” Then it politely cleared its throat and asked, “Could throw some gold in, please?” And as we all know, when yarn starts talking, you must oblige.
I hadn’t done stranded color work in a while and was itching to try it out again, so I started up with a beautiful sunburst motif and doubled the brim to keep ears toasty and floats hidden. Then I worked up two crowns types so you can create a hat you love: the hipster crown (pictured) and a traditional crown.
Sizes
Finished Circumference: 14.75 (18.5, 19.75, 20.75)”/ 37.5 (47, 50, 52.5) cm
Height: 7 (7.75, 9.25, 9.75)”/ 18 (19.5, 23.5, 25) cm

If you’re right on the border fit-wise, I’d recommend going with the larger size since stranded color work doesn’t have a lot of give.
