Summertime Shawl
The shawl is knitted from the top down, starting at the back of the neck with an i-cord cast on.
The inside edge is worked as you go with a two colour i-cord edge. Once the body is complete a one-colour edging is knitted on, joining one stitch to the body of the shawl on every wrong
side row.
This is ideal for knitters who would like to knit a two-coloured i-cord edging as you go and who would like to knit on a lace edging as you bind off the body of the shawl. The pattern has been extensively tech edited and test knitted.
I have used a variegated yarn and a plain yarn for the body of the shawl. The lace edging is knitted using the plain coloured yarn.
