This wrap/poncho is a perfect summer accessory. Knit in fingering weight yarn, it is light and sleek and swingy, especially in a wool/plant fiber blend. It features two sets of lacy leaves, twining up the side. Inspired by a wrap seen at the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland, Oregon, Summertime Blues will make your heart sing.

Gauge is 21 sts/4 inches in stockinette stitch, unblocked. Blocked gauge is 18 sts/4 inches.

Two pieces are joined with three needle bind off at the shoulder, and then seamed up the side with mattress stitch or slip stitch crochet. Knitter’s choice!

This pattern is highly adjustable for length and width. You can add or subtract to the stockinette sections to do so, but you will need more yarn if you wish to make it larger.
