Summertide Top
The Summertide Top is part of the Sun and Fog Collection, a celebration of CA Bay Area dyers and designers. Designed with California weather in mind, this top is a must-wear from Spring to early Fall. Summertide looks great in semi-solids and speckled colorways. Get creative with your color combination, or use one solid tone for your Summertide Top.
This top is knit from the bottom-up in the round beginning with a slipped rib hem. A Latvian Braid separates the stockinette body and lacy top on both the front and back. The shoulders are connected again using the Kitchener Stitch and the neckline is cleaned up with picked up sts and a simple BO. Pattern comes with complete instructions for these techniques, including a video tutorial for the Latvian Braid.
