The example was made with DK Cotton, but wool could also be used.
WPI is 18 and gauge 10 tr rows = 4 inch/ 10 cm and 16 tr = 4 inch/ 10 cm. Testing the gauge beforehand is very important and if cotton is used the gauge sample should be preshrunk.
The pattern comes in 3 sizes 33/38/43 inch chest or 84/96/108 cm
Hook size 4 UK and 10 USA
Pattern length can be easily adjusted.
450 to 500 g Cotton was used.= 1500- 1700 yards.
