Summer Sun Halter Neck Top
GENERAL INFORMATION
Instagram/Facebook handle: #summersunhalternecktop
The design elevates a simple line of a halter neck top by adding a feminine touch with a lacy motif center front. Small details like folded string tube, i-cord bind-off and the polished bands on the sides make the pattern an interesting and visually pleasing knit.
CONSTRUCTION
The piece is knitted seamlessly, top-down, with provisional cast on for the string tube at the neck (with a back opening for the string). Front and back are then worked separately and joined underarm to complete body in the round. The design suggests slightly cropped silhouette but the length of the top can be easily adjusted as desired. Intended ease is 2.5-8 cm / 1-3”.
Suitable for adventurous beginners and/or intermediate knitters.
