There are no specific yardage requirements. The shawl that was knit in the photos were made using the following colors and total grams needed to finish the sample shawl.

350g Kauni Effectgarn EG
300g Kauni 8/2 solid color RR7

You will need double pointed needles and circular needles in size to get gauge of 24 sts x 30 rows per 10cm.

For the border of the shawl go down a needle size from the needle size for gauge. For example, if you got gauge on 3.5mm needles for the body of the shawl, use 3.00 mm for the border.
