One of the benefits of knitting a sideways sweater is the possibility of vertical stripes. This Dotterel sweater showcases this technique beautifully by alternating two colors every other row in simple stockinette throughout. It’s created with minimal shaping—just some decreases at the shoulders and sleeves. And as with most of my knitting designs, no seaming with a tapestry needle is needed.
