Combining the art of doll making with the art of crochet is my newest design~The Sugar Plum Fairy. I have attempted to include as much detail as is possible on this small of a scale and in this medium. She is 11.5” tall posed as shown.

Sugar Plum wears pointe shoes and has individually articulated fingers and thumbs. Her costume has been embellished with crystals and rhinestones.

Make one or an entire Corps de Ballet to pirouette from your ceiling or Christmas tree.

This design requires a basic understanding of crochet techniques such as increasing/decreasing, adding on yarn, and ability to make basic stitches. No warranty is implied and no liability is assumed. Results may vary according to tension and skill level.

This pattern is rated Intermediate to Advanced due to the basic crochet parts of the pattern being provided in text only. It is expected that the reader have a good working knowledge of basic crochet stitches, increasing/decreasing and working in the round. While not difficult, the reader must be able to follow directions. The more detailed parts and soft sculpting (optional) are illustrated with photos. The pattern runs 16 pages in length.
