Sugar Mice Socks
by Sarah Hatton
A pattern of slip stitches and lifted stitches produces sprinkles of white on these candy-pink socks. Sarah Hatton’s top-down design features an afterthought heel to make working the pattern easier - a section of waste yarn is knitted in at the position of the heel, from which stitches are picked up either side later to knit the heel. Sarah has used Cascade’s Heritage sock yarn, which comes in a wide choice of shades.
