This straight pullover sweater has ribbing around the hem and sleeve edges, and the main body of the sweater is in a branching traveling-stitch pattern. The wide band at the v-neckline is done in colorwork in reverse stockinette stitch, using slipped and dropped stitches. The main body of the sweater is done in a light cream or white color, and the contrasting neckband color is black. The yarn is fuzzy, but too much fuzz would obscure the cables.

The patten calls for 13 (14, 16) balls of the main color, and 1 ball of the contrasting color.
