Stuffed animal dog Bo
by Durable Yarn
We wouldn’t be surprised if Bo the Dog turns out to be your child or grandchild’s favorite stuffed toy. He is crocheted with Durable Teddy yarn, making him extra huggable!
About this pattern:
- Crocheting with Teddy yarns: When you crochet with fuzzy yarns, such as Durable Teddy, it is more difficult to distinguish the stitches from each other. Try to feel your stitches instead of seeing them and always count your stitches. If you count your stitches while crocheting, you can easily spot mistakes. Don’t worry too much if you have one stitch too many, or fall short. You can easily solve this in the next round by working one stitch more or less. The Teddy yarn is extremely forgiving in that regard;
- The stuffed animal is crocheted in a spiral, unless stated otherwise in the pattern. Rounds do not need to be closed unless stated otherwise in the pattern;
- You crochet in a spiral: use a stitch marker at the beginning of each row;
- All parts of the dog are crocheted separately and sewn to each other with needle and thread later on.
- Yarn needed: Durable Teddy, 100% polyamide, 50g/65m/71yd. Yarn A: 2208, Cayenne, 4 balls. Durable Cosy, 50% cotton & 50% polyacrylic, 50g/66m/72yd. Yarn B: 325, Black, scrap yarn for the mouth.
