This purse is a simple project for beginner knitters to practice stockinette and knitting stripes. The purse is closed with a zipper which is sewn in by hand.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the purse is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than 10g in each of 2 colours: green and cream.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, a 10cm closed end zipper, sewing needle and cotton thread, and a red button to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - 11cm x 9.5cm.

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include seaming to finish.
