It’ll be all stripe! Practice your colour-work skills with simple stripes to make this pair of fingerless mitts and keep the chill at bay on autumn walks.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the mitts are knit in DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle for seaming.

SIZES
One size only - Equivalent to a size small/medium, for adults or teens, length is 24cm and hand measures 9.25cm across for a 18.5cm circumference.

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, seaming, knitting stripes, single rib and stockinette stitches, and a kfb increase.
