I have been imagining a set of hand knit Christmas stockings for as long as I can remember.

This stocking is worked from the top down in four colors, very similarly to a regular knit sock but on a much larger scale.

After knitting, the stocking is felted in the washing machine and dryer to shrink it and create a very dense fabric.
