Striated Hat and Slouch
A bulky yarn worked in a slip-stitch pattern that mimics knitting has a surprising amount of drape and elasticity because of the large hook used. The corrugated look is made by working alternating rounds with the wrong side facing then the right side facing.

Yarn Bernat Roving: #00011 bark or #00435 raspberry, 1, (2, 2) skein(s).
Hook Sizes K/10.5 (6.5 mm), Q (16 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Stitch marker; yarn needle.
Gauge 4 sts = 1.5” and 16 rows = 4” in sl st ribbing patt with smaller hook. 10 sts = 4” and 3 ridges = 3.75” in sl st ridge patt with larger hook.
