These toe-up socks are designed to be summer shortie socks, although of course you can knit them longer if you wish.

In my head the combination of Strawberry Moon, pink yarn and shortie socks kept making me think of Strawberry Shortcake - so my working name for these socks was Strawberry Shorties

There is a narrow lace panel - reminiscent of trailing Strawberry vines along the side of each sock.

The lace pattern is really fun to knit and if you prefer you can work the panel across the whole top of the sock - alternative directions are given for this.
