PATTERN NOTES
This striped, crescent-shaped shawl was inspired
by geologic stratification. The design is simple, yet
effective. It features only knit and purl stitches,
making this a pattern great for both beginner and
advanced knitters.
To keep a neat edge, do not carry yarn up stripes.
Cut yarn and weave in your ends as you go to save
time. When working in Stratification patt, work
additional reps of patt as sts become available. If
in doubt, cont in St st. You may wish to place a
marker between each rep of the patt to stay on
track.
