A beanie with dragonflies and poppies worked in stranded colorwork in the lower section, and a decorative flower pattern in the crown. It can be worked in 2 or 3 colors but 3 colors is best as the pattern is not well defined in only 2 colors.

Knitted in the round this is an intermediate pattern knitted in 2 colors, if you already know how to knit stranded colorwork and this pattern assumes that you do know how. If you have not knitted stranded colorwork before then this is an experienced level pattern. It is also experienced level if you knit it in 3 colors.

Instructions are given for head sizes 21” (53 cm), 22” (56 cm) and 23” (58 cm). These correspond to small, medium and large adult sizes.
