Yarn: The Yarn Collective Bloomsbury in colour “Soot” 3, (3,3,4,4,5,5) hanks 263 yards in each hank 790, (790,790,1050,1050,1300,1300) approx.

Needles: Size 6 US circulars, for body 24 inch, also 16-inch circulars for neck and arm trim.

Gauge: in stockinette stitch 10 cm/4-inch blocked swatch 24 st/30 rows on size 6 US needles (4mm)

Notes about construction:

• Knitted from bottom up, in the round, without waist shaping. The cables add natural waist shaping, the lace at the bottom edge a natural flare. The scalloped bottom edge is created by the lace pattern.

• The pattern is an 18 Stitches repeat. The pattern for the lower body pattern is worked once. It is charted and written out round by round for the ease of knitting.

• Top part of body is worked in stockinette stitch in the round until it’s time to separate front and back and shape the armhole. This is done flat.

• The shoulders are shaped with a few simple short rows. The shoulders are connected via a 3 needle bind off.
• trimmings on the neck and arm hole are simple garter stitch and add the polished finished look.

• The neck is bound off using the stretchy bind off.

Chest circumference:27,30,33,36,39,42,45 inches
note odd numbered sizes will have an odd number of scallops on the bottom edge
