Stories top
The Stories top is a subtly striped bandeau top that can be worn on or off the shoulders. With negative ease, it creates a tight fitting style that looks great worked with plain or variegated yarn or with a range of similar coloured yarns such as the Sirdar Stories Sunset bundle (shown in photos).
It is worked from the top down in a seamless style, using granny stitch and double knit weight yarn.
So that you can achieve the perfect fit, the pattern comes in 16 sizes from XS to 4XL+ including half sizes in between. It is available in UK and US crochet terms, includes step photos, charts and linked video tutorials. It also includes a cropped and a regular length. The cropped length is featured in the photos - but as most testers added extra rows, a regular length has been added.
The waist shaping can easily be omitted for a straighter silhouette, and there are also instructions for adding increases towards the waist for a more A line silhouette. This could also be used to extend the top over the hips if desired.
See photos for yardage and sizing info.
