How will you be using your pretty square?
You could pamper your skin with a spa or washcloth, use it in the kitchen and make your dishes sparkle, or how about collecting them all to create a comfy blanket for your home.
Varying stitch patterns surrounded by garter stitches make for a truly fun knitting project. Pattern is written and charted.
Blocked size 10” x 8.5”
Yarn
A DK weight cotton yarn, “Organic cotton” in color “Stone” by www.yarnz2go.com 125 yards/50g a skein. 62 yards used, so one skein can create 2 squares.
Notions
US size 4 (3.25 mm) knitting needle. straights or short circulars
4 Stitch markers
Gauge
8 sts and 14 rows in 2” of Stockinette stitch.
Level of Expertise: Advanced Beginner
