Steffi is a custom fitted skirt. Warning, there is a little bit of math involved but don’t let it scare you. You’ll take three measurements from your body (or a skirt whose fit you’d like to replicate) and then follow each step to get the numbers you need. You’ll fill in the blanks with these numbers and your pattern is written! The easy part is knitting it.

Materials
Yarn

dk or worsted weight yarn

Shibui Heichi - 100% silk, 105yds per 50 g skein
sample: 31” waist, 37” hips and 17” length – required 5 skeins; knitted in color Sidewalk

Also Recommended:

Lanaknits Allhemp6 - 100% hemp, 165 yds per 100g skein in Foggy

Needles
Circ needles (shorter than your waist measurement; 24-29”) size needed to obtain gauge that you like. Using recommended yarns this will be between 4 and 5 sts per inch on US 5–8 / 3.75-5 mm needles.

Notions
2 st markers
