Stashtastic Shrug
Inspired by a Maori Cape, this lovely shrug is a great project for working down various weights of yarn within your stash! This pattern was specially designed to be a stash project - please note that this shrug was knitted with my personal stash yarn. Some of the yarns are still current but some are vintage/mystery yarns. I have included special swatch instructions so you can have fun mixing your own yarns and still get the right size for the shrug.
Stash-wise, you will need: a super bulky roving type yarn to give body to the fringe and at least 200gms of a worsted weight type yarn for the body of the shrug. You will need four other yarns but as long as you have enough of that yarn for at least one row of the fringe, mix and match with abandon!
This shrug is one size. The circumference of the fringing edging is 63”. The body is 12.75” deep (when folded flat).
