Create the ultimate stash busting throw with this beginner friendly blanket pattern.
Each square is made with a different yarn; combining all sorts of gorgeous textures and fibres within one project.
I used a variety of Rico Creative and Fashion yarns, alongside little balls of assorted yarn from my stash with a 6mm hook.
A great way to use up all those oddments of yarn to create something beautiful and very tactile.
I chose a warm palette of golds, oranges, reds and pinks, but you could use any colours you like!
Experiment with different yarns and textures to create your own chunky blends by using two strands of finer yarns together (eg mohair, sock yarns etc)
This pattern featured in Crochet Now Issue 99, (still available to buy back issues online) but will be available in my store from January 2024.
I also used different combinations of yarns to create big, colourful tassels around the blanket.
