The Starlight Square is a tapestry crochet square that works with 2 to 5 colours.

The pattern includes instructions for both a 2-colour version and a 5-colour rainbow version, with a video tutorial for each:

For a DK yarn, I recommend a 3.5 mm hook, though you can use any yarn weight you like. Usually, using a smaller hook size than that recommended for your yarn works best.

The square works well for blankets, bags, cushions and more.
