Confident beginners who can double crochet will be able to follow the clear instructions given for cluster and popcorn stitches, which in this pattern are simply different ways to play with double crochet. More advanced crocheters will have no trouble at all.

Gauge is not critical for this project. I have used sport weight for a square measuring 6”, and worsted weight for a square measuring 8”. Approximate amounts of yarn needed for each color change are included in the pattern.

This would make a great square for use in a scarf or wrap as well as a blanket.
