I don’t often use laceweight yarn in my designs; it is often too fragile- and delicate-looking for me. I love fabric that has durable texture and body. But this alpaca lace yarn inspired me to see how I could use it to make something in my style. I was amazed at how making the chain loops with a larger hook gives the crochet fabric a nice texture.
