Star Bright Cowl and Beanie
Two patterns for the price of one!
The name of the pattern is taken from a 19th-century American nursery rhyme based on the fantasy that if you make a wish when you see a falling star that wish will come true:
Star light, star bright, the first star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.
Both cowl and beanie are worked in the round, using only two colors per round. The beanie is designed to fit a medium-sized adult head.
Yarn requirements:
Laxdale 2-ply Jumper Weight:
2 skeins Rose Pink (Color A)
1 skein Lichen (Color B)
2 skeins Heather (Color C)
1 skein Morning Sky (Color D)
For the crown of the hat you’ll need either a set of double-pointed needles or a long circular for the magic loop method.
