Star Anise is a luxurious, stranded colourwork sweater knit in five glorious shades of Acadia designed by Emma Wright for The Almanac Series.

With options for a high or crew neck and for wide, statement sleeves, or traditional tapered sleeves, this is a flexible pattern to make your own!

This boxy sweater is knitted bottom up seamlessly in the round to the underarm, where the work is then divided to work the front and back sections flat. The sleeves are knitted bottom up seamlessly in the round to the underarm to then attach to the divided section (armholes) of the garment body. The rib neckline is picked up last.
