A wardrobe basic - Staple mitts are knit bottom up in the round in an elastic 2x2 rib. Thumb gusset is then shaped with increases. Palm and knuckles are worked long enough to be worn with or without a folded hem.
The mitts are intended to be worn with some negative ease.
Materials: about 50g of Gusto Wool Echoes, Nokta or Core
Sizes: 1(2, 3)
Size 1 is suitable for children, sizes 2 and 3 for adults.
Dimensions: 3(3.5, 4.25)’’/7.5(9.5, 10.5) cm circumference x 6(7.5, 9)’’/15.5(19, 23) cm length laying flat, unstretched, including 1.5’’/3.75 cm folded hem
Needles: US 2.5-3 / 3-3.25 mm
Gauge: 26 sts x 41 rows in 2x2 rib = 4’’/10 cm square
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers
Skills: A beginner-friendly, easy level pattern.
