Staggered Striping Shawl
Choose two colors of fingering weight yarn to knit this beginner friendly garter stitch shawl. This asymmetrical triangle is knit in two sections. First, knit one striped section of the shawl by alternating your main color and contrast color for thick stripes. Then, knit the other section while attaching it to the first section as you knit. This design features one solid main color with a self-striping contrast color. Let the beautiful yarns shine with easy garter stitch and relaxing rows. I-cord edges frame the perimeter of this bold shawl design.

Gauge
22 sts & 44 rows = 4″ / 10cm in garter stitch after blocking
I recommend casting on the shawl and start knitting to check your gauge. The shawl starts small at the top center, so you can use the beginning of the pattern to compare your gauge to the recommended gauge.
