The Lucky Violet Color Co Knit Together for St. Paddy’s Day 2017 features our brand new shawl pattern, “Long Way to Tipperary”. This refreshing triangular shawl is inspired by Irish lore and landscapes. This shawl features easy i-Cord edges, a wee bit o’ garter stitch along with a sprinklin’ of Irish Moss stitch. As you proceed along there will be a portion of Quilted Lattice Stitch followed by some lovely Irish Knots. The piece is finished with a lacey border made of yarn overs, decreases, and Irish Knots finished off with a Picot cast-off edge.

We knit our sample in the Lucky Violet Color Co. Limmerick and Ale colorways with our luxurious Betty yarn base (60% Fine Merino, 30% Cashmere, and 10% Nylon 2-ply fingering weight yarn). These colorways are also available on our Wendy, Lily, Glinda, and Astrid yarn bases.
